Wedding Day Part 1 - Getting Ready/First Look/Group Photos

I have so many photos to share from my wedding.  Dave and I still say looking back, that our wedding was the best!  There's nothing I would change.  I don't know if everyone cares to see all of these photos, but I'm still excited about them almost a year later!




Here are some snaps of us getting ready:

My dad took my nephew, Owen, outside before the ceremony.  I love these photos.

Dave and I did a first look before the ceremony.  We did it so we could get some of our Bride and Groom photos and our group photos done beforehand and we could enjoy our cocktail hour after the ceremony.





Maybe most girls would hate this last photo, but I love it.  It makes me laugh.  I was starving and the caterer brought up a few plates of the hot hors d'oeuvres.

Wedding - Rehearsal Dinner

I remember very clearly that it rained during our rehearsal dinner.  I was so nervous that it would mean bad weather for the big day.


Everything turned out amazing and these two photos are the only two I can find!!

Wedding - Shower

So, exactly a year ago today, I was enjoying my Bachelorette Weekend!  It seems crazy that it was a year ago.

My shower was in March last year and it was perfect.  My sister picked an awesome rustic location that was seriously 2 minutes from my house.

Dave did something a little different than bringing me flowers...

He got me a yarn bouquet!!!!



It was an amazing day.  My sister had it in the morning so we could have breakfast food!  We had French toast and mimosas!  I know there was other food, but that's all that I remember!

I can't believe that Dave and I will be coming up on our 1st wedding anniversary soon and then right after that our 8th year since we started dating.

Dave just had his 8th surgery for his cancer last week.  He's home, doing really well.  Its crazy looking back at the past 8 years since I met him. 

This picture was either the 1st or 2nd summer we were together...I think 2nd.

I can't remember the last time Dave had no beard!  Ah I still can't believe how long ago this was.  It seems like forever and a minute all at the same time.

Wedding - Engagement Photos

I figured a good place to start to catch up on my blog-less year would be a wedding related post.

We got out engagement photos done last year at the end of September.  Our photographer, Leeann from Leeann Marie, Photographers, was/is amazing.

I love our city and it was nice to take photos with the city and the background.  Pittsburgh has so much to see and so many cool areas.  This was the first part of wedding planning that made it seem like, "Hey! We're going to get married!"  It was exciting and fun.  There were a ton of photos that I loved, but I was trying to not have picture overload.
