FO Friday - My Knit Vest

My first knit piece of clothing is done!  My knit vest is complete!

The seams really scared me, but I don't think they look too bad.

I was so nervous to try it on.

It is a little big in the width and a little short.  I think I can make it longer with blocking, but I think I'm stuck with the width.  Overall though I am very happy with it.

I've linked up with Tami's Amis, Natural Suburbia, and Wisdom Begins in Wonder.

Sam :-)

Pattern:  Karina
Yarn:  2.75 skeins of Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted in color Uva
Needles:  US 9 - 5.5 mm and US 10 - 6.0 mm

  1. Love the color!!! it looks nice and comfortable.

  2. Very nice! I think the seam looks great. I love the color.

  3. Great job....seaming look good. Maybe next time you might want to pick a pattern knit in the round so you can skip this scary step.

Really like the color. I seem to be knitting a lot lately with the purple/violet/lavender hues.

  4. Looks perfect to me! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  5. I think it; perfect! Love the colour and the shape

  6. It's perfect! I love the color and it looks great in those photos. I would have been scared to try it on too especially after all of that work.

  7. Congrats on finishing! Looks great and fits well!

  8. I love the shades of the colour. And it fits perfectly in my opinion.

  9. Looks good to me. Beautiful color.
