I gave you a teaser a while back on this item here. I finally managed to get some decent pictures of this scarf. Here's my Water Waves Scarf:
Its a little bulkier than I normally like, but it wears nicely.
Details:
Pattern - Nancy's Waves Scarf
Yarn - Bernat Mosaic in the color Spectrum - 2 skeins
Hook - J (6.00mm)
Size - 8"x 66" (approx 20cm x 167cm)
Its not as soft as I'd like it to be. I think I'm going to wash it to see if that makes it drape better and feel softer.
Thoughts?
Sam :)
Ps. Don't forget to check out other people's finished objects over at Tami's Amis.
It looks gorgeous, I love the pattern and the colour is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scarf! Usually a blocking will soften up yarn and give it more of a drape.
ReplyDeleteLove it :D What a fun scarf...perfect for fall!
ReplyDeleteit's gorgeous and it looks lovely on you =)
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is really pretty. I made a scarf from Noro wool and it ended up so scratchy I can't wear it. Not sure what to do. I hope yours softens up as it's lovely. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteReally good match of yarn and pattern - it does have a watery, wavy feel about it. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI commented on Rav too but thought I'd see your blog, the pattern really is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I faved it in my Ravelry! So glad I found your blog from iCrochet.
