First I'm finally going to show you my finished Martha Cowl.
I did take some pictures of me wearing it, or my bf did because I asked very nicely. I always think I end up looking weird, but I'll post one anyway.
And finally, here it is all folded up nicely.
Do you see what I did there? Do you see what is peeking out behind my Martha Cowl? That's right! My Grandma Betty's blanket is FINALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!! I am so happy it is done.
I went a little overboard on the pictures, but I love it!!! Again, I'm so happy its done, one less thing I have to worry about for Christmas. I'm positive Grandma Betty is going to love it!
Even though it isn't Friday, I'm still going to post this over at Tami's Amis FO Friday.

I've been waiting, waiting, waiting to see the finished blanket! lol. It came out completely gorgeous!! And the border you chose frames it perfectly. Wish I could see Grandma's face when you give it to her. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is absolutely gorgeous! What a wonderful granddaughter you are. Your grandma will be so happy to have this blanket made just for her. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty afghan! I love ur cowl too. :)
ReplyDeleteIs there a pattern for the cowl?!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the blanket! I am thinking about making this for my grandparents this year, but I hesitate on the yarn since I have to mail order it and I have heard a few people complain about the quality and texture of this particular yarn. How do you feel about it having completed an entire blanket out of it? Would you have compromised the colorways to have had a better feeling / more snuggly blanket? Thanks in advance!
