but FOUR towels.

I improvised this design. I actually tried a couple of different things as I went. I started with two towels that I cut in half. I did a blanket stitch across the top and then crocheted away!
The yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in Hunter Green. This does not come out of my stash numbers because it wasn't in my stash and my aunt bought it.

How do you put your initial holes in the towels to start your crocheting? I always assumed people just used kitchen towels (vs cutting them), and added the topper?

Those kitchen towels are the best! My sister, aunt and grandma make them. Grandma was so funny when she was alive, she was a towel snob. Seriously! She always added ruffle to her edging and would get made if someone didn't. She taught us all how to make them and she expected them to be made her way. I miss that woman...and what an odd memory to think about.
